9th Anniversary of My Website!

Tomorrow (July 1) my website (maruserino.com) turns nine, so in keeping with tradition, I have drawn a special illustration of my kanban-musume, Ami Shinjo. This year she’s wearing a simple, white dress.😋

Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊

The Figma Brand turns 10!

In January, 2008, a new type of figure was released as part of the limited edition version of the PS2 game The Confusion of Haruhi Suzumiya (which is of course, part of the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya franchise). 8th Anniversary of My Website!

Today (July 1) my website (maruserino.com) turns eight, so in keeping with tradition, I have drawn a special illustration of my kanban-musume Ami Shinjo. This year Ami-chan has cut her hair short again and she’s also sporting a new hair colour. Her hair-do hasn’t changed, though: it’s her trademark.😋

Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊

7th Anniversary of My Website

My website (maruserino.com) turns seven today. I haven’t been updating it at all recently, but as in previous years, I have drawn a special illustration (featuring my kanban-musume, Ami Shinjo) to commemorate this event.

I am planning to update my website shortly and when I do, this will become my website’s new homepage image.

Resident Evil 20th Anniversary

On March 22, Resident Evil (or Biohazard, as it’s known in Japan) turned 20 and to commemorate this milestone, CAPCOM has created a special webpage. Apparently this webpage has been around for a while, but I only found out about it a couple of days ago. The link below is for the Japanese webpage, which looks a lot better than the English one does.

The coolest thing for me about all this was the poster they made for this anniversary (which you can see below), primarily because it features Jill Valentine, who is my favourite RE character, front and centre. It’d be nice if they released it as a real poster one day…
