Today’s Daily Heroine is: Penny from the 80s cartoon Inspector Gadget, who was first voiced by the amazing Cree Summer (credited as Cree Summer Francks). Fans sometimes refer to her as Penny Gadget, but I don’t think that has ever been given as her real name, at least in the cartoons. Penny is without a doubt my number one animated girl and if, as a kid, I could’ve married her, I would have. She is cute, intelligent and brave, plus she is extremely selfless: she lets her bumbling uncle take credit for the crimes she solves. Of course, as a kid, she would probably get into trouble for meddling with criminal matters, so it is probably just as well her exploits remain a secret.😁
I’m always on the look out for new interesting and likeable heroines, so if you have a particular favourite, please tell me about her! Till tomorrow, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you.😊
This is an illustration of Atsuko, a minor character from the original Inspector Gadget cartoon, which I drew during a live stream on pixiv Sketch LIVE yesterday. There is a also a version for mature people of this illustration, which you can see on my pixiv account. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!
This is a pic I did of Penny, from the original Inspector Gadget cartoon, in her iconic red string bikini. You can some variations of this pic, including a version for mature people and a wallpaper version, on my pixiv account.
