Last night, during one of my wanderings through the internet, I came across a very interesting interactive article on the Washington Post’s website, published on April 9 of this year, about the Italian artist Milo Manara. Mr Manara, who is an artist renowned for his sensual and erotic drawings of females, has recently been creating a series of illustrations in honour of the heroic women who are helping keep society safe during the current pandemic. Personally, I think it’s wonderful that Mr Manara is honouring women in this way, because to me, it seems that for much of human history, the efforts and achievements of women have been largely overlooked and ignored.
If you are interested in looking at the Washington Post’s article, you can do so by clicking HERE. And if you are interested in seeing all of the illustrations Mr Manara has done in his series of heroic women so far, I believe they are all available on his Instagram account; you can visit it by clicking HERE. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
