Daily Heroine: Princess Leia Organa

Today’s Daily Heroine is: Princess Leia Organa (played by the late Carrie Fisher) from the original Star Wars trilogy, which came out in the 70s and 80s (and also the more recent sequel trilogy). The Empire Strikes Back is my favourite movie of all time, so I guess it’s no surprise that Princess Leia has always been a big favourite of mine. She is feisty and fearless and very attractive, especially in Return of the Jedi. That sexy slave costume of hers is something that is etched into my memory for all eternity.πŸ˜†

I’m always on the look out for new interesting and likeable heroines, so if you have a particular favourite, please tell me about her! Till tomorrow, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you.😊

New Fan Art: Classic Ahsoka

I’ve uploaded a new illustration, for mature people, of Ahsoka Tano from The Clone Wars to my pixiv gallery. I’ve drawn Ahsoka, who is my favourite female character from the Star Wars universe, many times before, but today after listening to some music from The Clone Wars, I got the urge to draw her once again in her classic look. This was done completely from memory, so there might an error here or there, but overall I think it came out pretty well. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊

Ahsoka “Rebels” Compilation Clip Released!

For the most part, I don’t like the direction Disney has taken Star Wars, my once dearest franchise. But I was happy that Disney XD put out this compilation on YouTube of what I assume are all of Ahsoka Tano’s scenes in Rebels (Disney’s Star Wars animated series that ended last year). As a big fan of Ahsoka, I’ve always been curious as to what she did on Rebels, but I had no desire to trudge through four seasons of it just to see mere glimpses of her here and there. I found this particular compilation to be quite entertaining, despite the fact that in my opinion the character models and animation in Rebels are inferior to those in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (from 2008). I guess it was simply great to see Ahsoka in action again.😁

Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊

New Fan Art: Ahsoka’s Back!

The Clone Wars cartoon has been resurrected by Disney, so I got the urge to draw my favourite character from it: Ahsoka Tano. This is an illustration for mature people, so if you wish to see it, please visit my pixiv gallery. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊

New Live Action Trailer for “Star Wars Battlefront II” Released!

Star Wars Battlefront II was launched yesterday and there has been no shortage of drama surrounding it. Being a big Star Wars fan, I was interested in it at first (as was the case with its predecessor) but the truth is I’m not really into MMORPGs. And then when the micro-transactions kerfuffle started, I pretty much tuned out. However, I have to say that coming across this live action Playstation trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II, entitled Rivalry, which was released a few days ago, was a pleasant surprise.

In only a couple of minutes, it manages to tell an enthralling tale of the rivalry between two young but passionate Star Wars fans: a boy who adores the Rebels and a girl who admires the Empire. As they grow up, their rivalry becomes more intense and eventually, ridiculously fantastical, but altogether it’s a thoroughly entertaining little clip. One thing I noted, though, is that the rivalry is apparently instigated by the Rebel boy, who seems to take a bit too much delight in destroying a TIE fighter piΓ±ata. In other words, the Rebel boy is the bad guy.😁

If you’re a fan of Star Wars, this trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II is definitely worth checking out. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
