Today’s Daily Heroine is: Sherry Birkin, a character from the Resident Evil (AKA Biohazard) video game franchise. She appears most prominently in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 6, but she appears in other games as well. I actually wrote a Featured Heroine post on Sherry about a year ago, so I didn’t think I’d be choosing her as a Daily Heroine quite so soon (especially after choosing another Resident Evil girl last week). But I had a bit of trouble deciding on a heroine today, so in the end I went with an easy option.😄 I really like Sherry. She’s very sweet, despite all the hardships she’s gone through in her life. Incidentally, the image above is a small promotional picture from Resident Evil 2. Sherry looks so cute in it, don’t you think?😍
I’m always on the look out for new interesting and likeable heroines, so if you have a particular favourite, please tell me about her! Till tomorrow, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you..😊
CAPCOM just released this short biographical video about Claire Redfield, one of the chief protagonists of the Resident Evil video game franchise. I’m not exactly sure why they released this video, but it seems to be just a bit of a marketing boost for the Resident Evil 2 remake that was released at the start of this year. In any case, I think it’s a cool video. It has a spoiler warning at the beginning, but I didn’t think it divulged that much about the games Claire is in. For example, I myself have never played Resident Evil – Code: Veronica and the video didn’t really ruin anything for me.
Claire Redfield is a character I want to write a Featured Heroine post about in the future, but as I said above, I haven’t played Code: Veronica. So until I do, that post will unfortunately have to wait. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
This is the young version of Claire Redfield, as she appears in Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake. In the game, she mentions having a shower, so I thought I’d draw her having one.😋 This is the “foamy” version of this illustration, but there are three “foamless” versions, which you can see on my pixiv gallery. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
I just completed the Katherine Warren episode from Resident Evil 2, one of three Ghost Survivor episodes that were released today. Even though it’s supposedly the easiest of the episodes,it was quite challenging! But being able to put a raccoon on Katherine‘s head made it all worth it. Well, almost!😆
Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
Of all the Resident Evil characters, my favourite will always be Jill Valentine. However, given the opportunity to tell the story of any character in the Resident Evil franchise, I would without a doubt choose Sherry Birkin. And this is in spite of the fact that I haven’t known Sherry for very long. I only finished playing Resident Evil 6 late last year and, more recently, I’ve been having fun with the Resident Evil 2 remake, both of which feature Sherry at different stages of her life. Before reading further, please note that this post contains some information that could be considered spoilers. Continue reading →
Yesterday, which was the first day of the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, a new trailer for the upcoming remake of the Resident Evil 2 video game was unveiled by CAPCOM. This trailer focuses on the game’s plot and it looks simply amazing. We see a bit more of Leon, but we also get to see a lot of the female characters who appear in the game.
The long awaited Resident Evil 2 remake was announced a couple of weeks ago at E3 2018, but this trailer (which was shown there) has only just been added to the official Resident Evil YouTube channel. It’s kind of a reveal trailer, as it is not immediately clear what it is about at the start. And while the other trailers that have been released thus far show more actual gameplay, I find this trailer particularly interesting because you get to see a fair bit of Claire Redfield in it.
