A new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake has just been released and it looks awesome! The focus of this trailer is Nemesis, the game’s monstrous antagonist, but you do get to see a lot of new shots of Jill Valentine, the game’s heroine, as well.
Resident Evil 3 is out on April 3, which is not very far away, but if there is any further news on it, I’ll definitely make a post about it. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
The long-expected and hoped for remake of Resident Evil 3 has just been announced by CAPCOM! It will be out in just under four months; April 3 to be exact. Continue reading
CAPCOM just released this short biographical video about Claire Redfield, one of the chief protagonists of the Resident Evil video game franchise. I’m not exactly sure why they released this video, but it seems to be just a bit of a marketing boost for the Resident Evil 2 remake that was released at the start of this year. In any case, I think it’s a cool video. It has a spoiler warning at the beginning, but I didn’t think it divulged that much about the games Claire is in. For example, I myself have never played Resident Evil – Code: Veronica and the video didn’t really ruin anything for me.
Claire Redfield is a character I want to write a Featured Heroine post about in the future, but as I said above, I haven’t played Code: Veronica. So until I do, that post will unfortunately have to wait. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
Yesterday, which was the first day of the 2018 Tokyo Game Show, a new trailer for the upcoming remake of the Resident Evil 2 video game was unveiled by CAPCOM. This trailer focuses on the game’s plot and it looks simply amazing. We see a bit more of Leon, but we also get to see a lot of the female characters who appear in the game.
The long awaited Resident Evil 2 remake was announced a couple of weeks ago at E3 2018, but this trailer (which was shown there) has only just been added to the official Resident Evil YouTube channel. It’s kind of a reveal trailer, as it is not immediately clear what it is about at the start. And while the other trailers that have been released thus far show more actual gameplay, I find this trailer particularly interesting because you get to see a fair bit of Claire Redfield in it.
If you play videos games, you will without a doubt be aware that E3, the world’s biggest electronic entertainment event, is happening right now. This means a lot of new clips from upcoming video games will be cropping up. The one that caught my eye today was this sort of teaser trailer for Resident Evil VII, which is coming out on January 24, 2017 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The logo is pretty cool, isn’t it? Thumbs up to the person who came up with it! [^_^] I’m a big RE fan, so I’ll be keeping on eye on this particular game, but I wonder exactly where it fits in the grand RE universe, because it seems a bit different to the previous games. Not that I’ve seen it, but I get a kind of The X-files vibe from the trailer and there doesn’t seem to be any familiar characters around, at least as far as I can tell. Also, this game will be playable in VR, which will probably make it a whole lot scarier for those who have VR headsets!
I’ll definitely write further posts on Resident Evil VII in the future, but for, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!
