Well, this Japanese trailer for the upcoming Alita: Battle Angel film is just incredible. Unlike the Western trailers, this one really gives you a sense of the epicness of Alita‘s story. I’m very impressed! I only wish I’d seen it before I published my last post, on the Alita poster, because I could’ve included it in there.😋 I actually had the webpage with the Japanese trailer open while I was writing that post, but I assumed it was the same as last month’s Western trailer, just with Japanese subtitles. I was planning to watch it simply to see what the Japanese subtitles were like. I certainly wasn’t expecting to have my mind blown.😀 I think I’ll go and watch it again now. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
This poster for the upcoming Alita: Battle Angel film was revealed on twitter yesterday. Alita looks amazing, doesn’t she? I love her pose, her proportions and her expression. She’s perfect!😍 I was a little disappointed when Alita was pushed back to February (from its December release date), but seeing this poster has got me excited for it once again! Assuming this is the official theatrical poster, it’ll be great to see it in the cinemas soon. And it’d be great to see it on my wall one day, as well!😄
A second trailer for Alita was released last month and a short clip from it was released only a few days. You can check out both below. Continue reading
This is the official trailer for the upcoming Alita: Battle Angel film that was unveiled at an SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) panel earlier today! Continue reading
Hollywood films based on Japanese material normally don’t really do a lot for me. Case in point: this year’s Ghost in the Shell. Occasionally, however, an interesting adaptation does crop up. Case in point: the film formerly known as Edge of Tomorrow. Now, I only saw this trailer for Alita: Battle Angel a short while ago, but it certainly seems to have a few things going for it. Christoph Waltz, who is a very talented actor, is in it and James Cameron, who has created some fantastic films in his long career, is one of the producers. And although I can’t say I’m a fan of Robert Rodriguez, as his previous films haven’t really been my cup of tea, the footage in the trailer sure looks amazing, doesn’t it?
