As you can see, a trailer featuring the two upcoming DLC episodes for Capcom’s video game Resident Evil 7 has been released. One episode, called Not a Hero, will be free to all those who own the game. The other episode, called End of Zoe, will only be available to those who have also purchased the season pass (which contains additional content), although it’s likely that it will also be available as an individual DLC episode.
The Not a Hero episode, where you play as Resident Evil mainstay Chris Redfield, looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. I initially thought the events in it were going to be concurrent with the main game, but after watching this trailer, it’s clear that Not a Hero takes place after the end of Resident Evil 7 and will tie up the Lucas Baker loose end.
I wasn’t very interested in the first batch of DLC that came with Resident Evil 7, so I only purchased the game, but End of Zoe does look tempting! I do want to know what happens to poor Zoe Baker after Ethan callously abandons her(😋) in what I guess is now officially the canonical “Mia Route”. And yes, the first time I played Resident Evil 7, I chose Zoe.🙂
According to this trailer, both Not a Hero and End of Zoe are scheduled to be released on December 12. This will coincide with the release of the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 7, which was announced a few weeks ago. The Gold Edition will come with 2 earlier DLC episodes, plus End of Zoe. Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
