New Trailer for “Biohazard: Vendetta” Released!

A new trailer for the upcoming Biohazard: Vendetta (aka Resident Evil: Vendetta) 3d-animated film has just come out. This film centres on the heroic trio of Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy and Rebecca Chambers, who must face off against yet another bloodthirsty horde of mutants unleashed by the new owner of not one, but two incredibly evil and powerful corporations. Yes, in the end it’s basically the same old Resident Evil plot, but this film does look like it’s going to be fun.

You get to see a lot more of Rebecca Chambers in this trailer. Judging by the lab coat and fancy equipment at her disposal, she’s more than just a simple nurse in this outing. In fact, the on-screen information about her describes her as university professor. However, as I pointed out in the last post I wrote about Vendetta (which you can read here), it appears she ends up playing the damsel-in-distress role at some point.

This situation looks a bit kinky, doesn’t it?😁 In the first trailer, Rebecca was shown only tied to a normal-looking chair. Now, she’s securely restrained on an operating table. What comes next…? I guess we’ll have to watch the movie to find out.😋 In Japan, Vendetta will be released into theatres in just under three weeks, on May 27, and (according to Wikipedia) it will also be getting a very limited US release in June, before it’s released on Blu-ray in July.

One last thought about the character designs, which I touched on last time. For some reason, they don’t quite look like they do in their respective games. It’s almost as if the film’s creators deliberately wanted to give viewers the impression that they are watching a real movie with a group of real actors, who look similar to, but not exactly the same as, their characters. Of course, this is just a wild theory on my part, but it’d be amusing if this were in fact true, wouldn’t it?

Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!😊
