On March 22, Resident Evil (or Biohazard, as it’s known in Japan) turned 20 and to commemorate this milestone, CAPCOM has created a special webpage. Apparently this webpage has been around for a while, but I only found out about it a couple of days ago. The link below is for the Japanese webpage, which looks a lot better than the English one does.

The coolest thing for me about all this was the poster they made for this anniversary (which you can see below), primarily because it features Jill Valentine, who is my favourite RE character, front and centre. It’d be nice if they released it as a real poster one day…
I’ve never really owned a console, so the first time I played an RE game was when I was fortunate to come across a budget PC release of Resident Evil 3, Nemesis. This RE game features Jill as the main character, so I guess that’s the reason she bacame my favourite.
Recently, several RE games have been released for PC, both redone and new, so I’ve been able to play quite a few of them and I’ve enjoyed them immensely. CAPCOM are currently redoing the second RE now, which I’m happy about, and I hope that in the future they redo the third one too, because, well… Jill absolutely deserves it, doesn’t she? [^_^]
Till next time, au revoir, arrivederci and may the force be with you!
